What is the Mayors Forum? The Mayors Forum is a new governance body of the Covenant of Mayors in Latin America. The Forum will bring together mayors from signatory municipalities of the GCoM from various countries in the region that stand out for their work and commitment to climate change. The goal is to strengthen the voice of cities in the Covenant’s strategy and support regional priorities. The Forum will also provide greater visibility to the climate action commitments of signatory municipalities and enhance their presence in key events and forums for the regional and global climate agenda. This forum will be supported by leaders representing the GCOM community in Latin America who can act as spokespersons and inspire more cities.
