Gap Fund: Opportunity to Enable Urban Climate Solutions
In the context of the Latin America and the Caribbean Climate Week 2023 (LACCW) in Panama City, the GCoM-Gap Fund team will conduct a workshop on the City Climate Finance Gap Fund for city representatives attending the LACCW on October 24.
The Gap Fund for City Climate Finance is a technical assistance fund for cities implemented by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank, aimed at supporting urban development projects with low carbon emissions and resilience to climate change.
This Gap Fund training aims to provide local government representatives with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively engage with the Gap Fund. This includes understanding eligibility criteria and the Expression of Interest (EoI) submission process. Through interactive exercises and case studies, participants will learn how to complete an EoI and benefit from successful examples.
