The Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency will host an online seminar titled “Think Globally, Act Locally – Energy Efficiency Actions in Argentina and Rosario” on March 8th. The seminar will focus on energy efficiency issues at various levels of government, with a particular emphasis on the city of Rosario:
- National Level: The development of energy efficiency policies in Argentina;
- Inter-City Level: The challenges and opportunities for energy efficiency in municipalities across Argentina;
- Intra-City Level: Local energy efficiency actions in the city of Rosario;
- Financing Opportunities: Energy efficiency funding opportunities at the local level.
The Argentine Network of Municipalities Facing Climate Change, one of the National Coordinators in Argentina of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, will participate in the event. Executive Secretary Ricardo Bertolino will discuss the network’s work.
