The Latin American Secretariat of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy invites organizations interested in becoming National Facilitators to submit their Expressions of Interest.
National Facilitators in each country work to support the GCoM signatory municipalities in achieving their greenhouse gas reduction goals and mitigating climate vulnerabilities.
The alliance aims to have a diverse range of National Facilitators, including city networks, regional associations, technical NGOs, and networks of local authorities. Organizations must meet certain requirements to qualify as national facilitators.
Among the responsibilities of National Facilitators is the obligation to carry out activities within the framework of the GCoM and report them annually to the Secretariat.
