  Location: Marriott Panama Hotel, Colón 1 RoomA new collaborative space is opening up to drive climate action in cities across Latin America and the Caribbean. This space will facilitate connections between cities, local governments, solution providers, funders, and other collaborators with the goal of strengthening, expanding, and implementing urban climate initiatives with the assistance of the Covenant of Mayors.

  The panel, “Innovate4Cities Exchange Space: forging connections to accelerate city climate action implementation,” will take place on October 23.

  This initiative is expected to foster long-term intersectoral partnerships and help identify research and innovation priorities in the cities of the region. The aim is to establish a permanent space for the exchange of ideas and solutions that address the identified gaps in Research Agendas, contributing to effective climate action in the region.
