Next Thursday morning, September 29th, the International Virtual Meeting “SMART CITIES: GIS Risk Analysis” will take place. It is organized by the Argentine Network of Municipalities facing Climate Change (RAMCC) together with the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM) and refers to the implementation of the GCoM National Strategy in Argentina.
The meeting will be introduced by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and will include the participation of the municipality of San Benito, located in the province of Entre Ríos (Argentina), which stands out in the implementation of Geographic Information Systems for risk analysis and decision making. In addition, there will be contributions and interventions of international municipalities experienced in the subject such as:
- Växjö, Sweden
- Matosinhos, Portugal
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Ambato, Ecuador
- Sabaneta, Colombia
Given the multicultural nature of the exhibitors, the event will have simultaneous interpretation in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Don’t miss this free international exchange.
