One of the central objectives of the Covenant is to encourage active participation from Caribbean cities in the alliance. In this regard, the panel “Experience Exchange among Cities in Latin America and the Caribbean” will be inaugurated on October 24, with the aim of strengthening their commitment to local governments in the region through personalized support.
Experience Exchange among Cities in Latin America and the Caribbean
One way the Covenant is promoting these objectives is by facilitating peer-to-peer exchanges that allow cities from both regions to connect and learn from each other. This collaborative and mutual learning approach is based on the idea that cities can be effective agents of change in the fight against climate change and that sharing experiences and knowledge is essential to accelerate climate action.
