With the support of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy in Latin America and the Caribbean (GCoM-LAC), ICLEI South America presents a series of webinars to debate what future we want for cities after the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The goal is to share references in a space for interaction and exchange of experiences between local and regional governments, experts and institutions on the connections between the current Covid-19 crisis and the climate and nature crises. The first episode will take place on Thursday, April 30, from 10 am to 11 am.
The first episode will have the participation of Carlos Nobre, president of the Brazilian Panel on Climate Change and João Resch Leal, Secretary of Sustainability, Innovation and Resilience of Salvador (BA). The series of debates is aimed at representatives of the local governments of the ICLEI South America network, public managers interested in providing references for building a better future, specialist institutions and partners that support the agendas of local and regional governments.
