Description

The purpose of this report is to provide a roadmap describing the process and methodology used by this Association -in its capacity as National Technical Coordinator of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM) in Chile- regarding the preparation of the Climate Action Plans with a focus on adaptation carried out during 2019 and 2020, aligned to the requirements established in the GCoM Common Reporting Framework (2018), an instrument that contains the recommendations that allow guaranteeing the soundness of the phases of planning, execution and monitoring of climate action measures, as well as the aggregation and comparison of the data obtained among the cities and local governments that are part of the Covenant at a global level.
